The Love School is about connection through music. This is the educational branch of Red Loves Blue and Red & Blue Records. Rooted in compassion, communication, and mental health practices, we bring families together through singing, rhythm, songwriting, and creative expression to learn and bond with one another. Along the way, we explore how music supports emotional regulation, calmness, coherence, and connection. Science shows us how music is associated with social-emotional learning. Playing and listening to music alone and with others can help the body relax, slow down, connect, and feel more at ease.

The Love School offers a variety of family music classes where mothers, fathers, guardians and children learn skills from experienced guitar, piano, drums, bass, ukulele, and vocal teachers. Community members learn the regulatory powers of music, giving them tools to use at home to increase emotional health and new ways to create and connect with one another, as well as with themselves.

Physically located in Amherst, MA, workshops and groups are held at community centers and libraries around the region.
